Aug 28, 2009 · I just noticed that my Cisco VPN Client doesn't work with Snow Leopard. It complains about not being able to communicate with the VPN Subsystem. I hadn't heard that Snow Leopard included a VPN client. There is something wrong with it, as it doesn't accept our shared-secret (it says it's incorrect).

I used to use CheckPoint's VPN client on my Mac OS X (Leopard), but recently I upgraded to Snow Leopard, my VPN client stop working right after that, so I downloaded IPSecuritas and after some time I was able to VPN in. The problem is I get disconnected and since I work through ssh, it's gets very annoying. any ideas where can I look? The VPN client was unable to successfully verify the IP forwarding table modifications. A VPN connection will not be established A few months back when my MAC had Snow Leopard and i had a previous version of the Cisco Anyconnect VPN client things were working fine and the VPN client was able to establish the connection even from my Home Network.

We are running Snow Leopard Server and have setup VPN here and external users can pretty easily connect to it. We want to make it even easier though. The one option that I've spent several hours trying to get to work is "VPN on demand", which you of course can find in the 'Advanced' pane of the VPN network options.
